On Friday, 19 May 2017 we hald an invited talk given by prof. Bogdán Zaválnij from the University of Pecs. His talk was about random and parallel algorithms Monte Carlo and Las Vegas. You can view the lecture recordings.
On Thursday, 26 May 2016 there will be an invited talk given by prof. Domen Mongus from the University of Maribor. His primary goal is parsing and clustering of cloud of points obtained from the LIDAR system. He is a member of the GeM2A laboratory.

Almost 30 attendants are currently at the Ljubljana Algorithms and Data struvtures Summer School 2014 organized by LUSY, Faculty of Computer and Information Science at University of Ljubljana. The lecturers are Ian Munro, Bengt Nilsson, Roberto Grossi and the person responsible for the summer school, Andrej Brodnik.
Today, 4. 9. 2014 at 10:15, student Aleksander Fabijan will defence his thesis at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science. Thesis titled Online Algorithms for Graph Partitioning into Cliques was written under supervision of his mentor dr. Andrej Brodnik and co-mentor prof. dr. Bengt J. Nilsson. Thesis is available at FRI eprints.
The Summer school 2014 for college students has ended. The workshop was focused on students already keen of programming who wanted to learn more on algorithms and data structures, especially aimed for computer programming competitions. The workshop was organised by dr.
Bogdán Zaválnij, University of Pécs, Hungary will have an invited lecture at Algorithms and data structures 2 course on Thursday, 29 May 2014 at 7:30 in Lecture room 2, Tržaška 25. He will talk about the Monte Carlo and Las Vegas methods and about the parallel programming using MPI. He will also demonstrate the execution of algorithms on one of their super computers.

This will be a general talk about ipv6, where you’ll see how you can get ipv6 in slovenia. I’ll show you some benefits of having ipv6 and well see that most of these benefits are useless because of lame ipv6 support in software. Then I’ll share what obstacles I’ve had to go through while trying to support ipv6 on various servers.
