Concurrent data structures and algorithm parallelization

<p>Advances in modern computer architecture are leading to an ever increasing number of available cores.&nbsp; New algorithms and new technologies (e.g.~hardware transactional memory) are being developed to take advantage of this.&nbsp; This seminar presents an overview of the current and related work on concurrent data structures and parallelization of algorithms.&nbsp; The research focus is on algorithms and data structures used in ray tracing.</p>
